Help needed to start a CPA campaign

Hi, I just got into Copeac Network but I am really confused from where to begin. I have tried reading the "Getting Started" and also did some search in Google but I think I'm going to need a good beginner's guide to start with CPA networks. If someone can provide me a link to some good beginner's guide or tutorial on starting with CPA networks, I will really appreciate your help.

I am planning to use PPC for my campaigns. So, a guide for promoting CPA offers using PPC for beginner's will be just perfect. Can I promote CPA offers directly using adwords without using a landing page?

Okay here is a tip for your landing page : make it look like a big banner forget about the good old presales letters and the long pages describing the product with plenty of testimonials. Of course you can throw some content to deal with the quality score.
Here is another tip most of the people here don't like, but I still do it. Throw some Adsense on the landing page, I hate to waste traffic if my landing page sucks or if the visitor wasn't targeted enough, better for me if he clicks an ad and pays me back something (of course I assume you'll use PPC) rather than clicking the buck button.
Well I can't keep posting about landing pages if I don't know what exactly you wanna promote, it depends and there are so many variables. And I'll gladly poste or PM ya some examples but of course you need to give me an idea about the products, offers, or niches you are planning to play with.
