How Often do you scan your PC

    I'm very cautious about security and I scan my PC daily (sometimes couple a day).

    First I do Mcafee Virus scan, followed by 'Spysweeper' Scan. After that I do 'adaware' scan and at the end 'Spyware Doctor' scan. Scanning finished now then do some usual hard drive de-fragmentation and drive medic etc

    What about you?

    I let AVG scan every morning while I'm making coffee.

    I make daily backups to a separate drive, and weekly backups to an external drive that I keep 'offsite'.

    I scan every day and i use only AVG but i am getting alot of trouble of pop windows recently eeven though i have pop up windows blocked!

    Most webmasters need to check their PC regularly- especially if you buy and sell stuff.

    I generally check my PC everyday while going to sleep.
    It is better to have a check daily:p

    I normally scan once in a week.

    Avoid Mcafee,this antivirus cannot detects all the spywares/virus

    I normally scan my pc and laptop once in a 3-4 days with my AVG. And use AVG scanner everytime for downloaded zip or rar file before going to open it.

    Daily is a bit extreme :eek:
    But I check it for viruses and other animals once twice a month... Just did yesterday in fact :)

    I like to scan it once a week using AVG and Spyware Terminator, but I always do full scan everytime my brother use my PC.

    I don't know what is he doing,but my PC always full of virus and spyware after he use it :(

    About once a month, I scan my PC with a couple different antivirus programs and 3 anti-spyware programs. The combination usually kills anything on there.

    Once every ten days.

    However, if I visit a suspicious site,download something that I don't trust etc, I scan immediately after it is done.

    I am very careful about which sites I visit and what I download. I have never really had any problems in last couple of years.
