How strong is your directory?

I just hope you are not giving more strength to educational and government links
This is one of the major disadvantages of PS tool, in my opinion.

Many more directories approved and listed, thanks for all your submissions so far. Despite being optional we have had quite a few reciprocal links given to us by directory owners which is absolutely great, and shows us that the site in general and the DR Ranking system is being well received, many thanks!

The directories score is calculated using many factors and metrics, back links naturally being part of the algorithm. Building a great DR score is simply about building a great directory, as mentioned in a previous post, if you have a well established, well maintained and well promoted directory that is of high quality, with plenty of quality back links and useful SE friendly content you will get a good DR Rank.

wayner, stick to your guns, don't release the details of your algo! That just gives people the opportunity to manipulate.

 

Looks like just another gimmick site with absolutely no real substance or authority.

Big Web Links with a rating of 9.3 on the richter scale. C'mon. Using your 'algorythm' or in english terms 'set of rules' what do you use to determine this? It sure as hell can't be the amount of links they only got 700 and a few, which was establshed the other day.

This is what makes the directory industry look silly, gimmicks like this coming along with unqualified values. I would love to see something like this succeed but if your going to ever get any credability your going to have to reveal how you come to the conclusion directory A may be better than Directory B, and so on, otherwise your giving a wholly false representation to the public and that's just what makes PR such a stupid and worthless tool.

Why don't people stop playing on vanity and get real with sanity, work hard at content and then some, forget gimmicks they count for little in the real world.

I worked for hundreds of webmasters and many of their websites were very poor in many aspects. But never dared to say like you. If even said something - made it as a suggestion rather or good advice.

I appreciate new project and all efforts put in it.

I give proper credit when it is proper and I believe that Big Web Links deserve that. On every directory I visit even the most unusual ones from before I find its either Alive, Big Web Links or Blaze.

mystikmedia is one of the best promoter and that I can guarantee without kissing A**.

@SilkySmooth; I personally counted them myself, and I do believe there is a thread here somewhere where I pointed this fact out. They have improved mind its now at 794 links. I'll even tell you the alogrithm I used to achieve this. My finger and a calculator.
