Appraisal: Arabic domain names (عربي)

The Arab world consists of twenty-two countries stretching from Mauritania in the west to Oman in the east. They have a combined population of 323 million people and their combined economies surpass 1.6 trillion U.S. dollars, and grows 5% annually.

Arabic domain names are growing in popularity. It is too early to expect great profits from these domains, but Google just recently released ads in Arabic. The relative wealth of these countries and the drive to build internet infrastructure make these domains, in my view, a long-term investment.

Any comments would be appreciated. No one commented on my Hebrew domains, so I don't expect much interest in these. However, I hope someone has some insight to share. Arabic domain name and literal translation are included below:

I have had them registered for a long time. They get type-in traffic now. Yes, علاقات.com (relationships dot com) and العسل.com (honey dot com) are my favorites.

I assumed you would have tennis dot com in Arabic?

Me, too. But I find that few people share that love. It is the generic term for oil. I think it was a really lucky reg. I passed it by for weeks, but finally took the chance. If I only had 'sugar dot com' in Arabic to go with 'honey', I could die happy.
