What's google done with my web pages ?

Can anyone help me but yet again google has decided to bin some of my pages of my site.

I was crawled a couple of days ago,checked in webmaster are pages have been crawled (13 in total) and as an result search engine ranking for my selective keywords was very high for my site.

Yet 2 days on from that, google appears to just have left me with my index and contact page. As an result lower search engine results. Site is http://www.sonicwebdesign.co.uk

if you could update your sitemap, then submit new or check your rankings on different locations using geoseo.com

 

I ve already updated /resubmitted my site map yesterday morning and my ranking using geoseo.com is showing my ranking as pretty low. Thanks for the geoseo.com seem an usefull tool

 

What search terms were you looking to rank on?

 

1st page for logo design derby, 1st page for web design derby. Theses are the main ones for now because i gain most work from them.

Get more backlinks from relevant websites and high pagerank using your keywords in the anchor text and it's even better to get backlinks for inner pages as well.

 

I don't think any thing's wrong. It's just an update. But it's a BIG update.

 

I have noticed the same - over the past weekend, after being crawled weekly, with consistently high rankngs growing for all pages...suddenly out of the blue, pages have gone supplemental, or fallen in SERPS dramatically. There are plently of links to deep pages with relevant anchor text etc...it's made a huge difference to my site, with hits falling by 50%. I can't see what I have done wrong, that has worked so well for previous updates. Other than more of the same old link building.

 

That's what I said, it's just a big update. I have noticed the same things too.

I don't know also what happen to google. Some of my page also drops.

 

This has happened to a lot of sites at various times. But in many cases the rankings jump back up to their previous high positions after a few days. The cause for these sudden down and up movements is unknown. But I hope your rankings go back up again in a few days. Good luck!
