I can't believe this update isn't over yet. Is this the longest one?

I still can't believe they're still tinkering with this. Just get it over with for fecks sake.

I've not had ONE relevant hit from Google in the last 3 days, down from 300-400 per day. Yes thats a 100% drop in Google traffic. Amazing. The results on the two DC's mentioned are much better for me (but nowhere near as good as prejagger). But something is better than nothing.

Well it seems Jagger3 will still go on for a few days, I am guessing it will end around the 20th! So overall, the Google update will take a full month!
    good luck to all

This roll-out seems to have rolled to a halt.

I am worse than pre-jagger but its much better than it was last week or the week before.

But I think once Google gets around to adding more of my pages and indexing my relevant pages, I will be fine.

A big sigh of relief here though

There's nothing like stocking up for the holiday season and then having your rankings vanish. I might be eating a lot of chocolate and macadamia nuts.

The Google February/March Event lasted 55 days for me. (from when my site was first effected until it returned to normal results).

So far, My site has been effected for 49 days (since September 22nd) as the result of this current fiasco affectionately referred to as Jagger.

My site has seen little change from yesterday...

I am still seeing some flux on SERPs in the real estate arena - albeit minor fluctuations.

Does this imply that Jagger is all but finished? Or will it roll on for another week with minor tweaks?

Here is a peek at how the Google February/March 2005 Event rolled to a "conclusion" for my site.

    http://www.mcdar.net/FebC-BlockNew.htm

As this Event has not been all that different, I suspect this one to follow suit.

Googlebot is indexing my site pretty heavy right now. This is the first time the bots have been really indexing me since jagger started. Averaging about 1 page view every 10 seconds and has been steady for the last couple hours.

    Hi Caryl,

Thanks for posting that. But since you look at these graphs a lot more than I do, can you give me a one or two sentence explanation of what you mean by "As this Event has not been all that different, I suspect this one to follow suit"

Is it that in the end your allins match a lot more closely than at the beginning or is there more to it?

    Thanks

Cutts says it's winding down. This just means that they may finish sometime soon. It could easily be a week still before Jagger3 is truly finished. Ugh! I'm so tired of this. I have been getting almost no traffic since Sep. 24. Jagger3 looks like it is going to bring my traffic back, but I'm seriously tired of waiting.

The rollout from 66.102.9.104 appears (to me) to be on these DC's now:

    64.233.179.99
    64.233.179.104
    -lm: 66.102.9.99
    -mc: 66.102.7.99
    64.233.161.104
    -kr: 66.102.11.104
    -mc: 66.102.7.147

    This rollout is slow...

    Aok,

My statement was referring to the similarity of both the position and allinanchor plunging and fluctuating all over the board for an extended period that eventually turned out to be 55 days.

During the Feb/March Event - there was no predictive Datacenter that eventually spread to all of the others.

If you look at the data reported - it looks like the results just slowly "sifted" back down to normal and finally stable results.

At no time was there anything recorded during the "Event" that was predictive of the final outcome.

Scroll slowly down this Report between the Dates February 3rd and March 24th.

    Complete Report
