Thats Eli's blog. I think he knows alot about the field and has some real good advice on his blog.
    Here is the link: http://www.bluehatseo.com/

Now for original poster, I think the logic you have given in your blogpost are weak and crappy.
I know that Eli is not a regular poster, but every post on that blog is worth reading.

I think this discussion will go long.

Its just a blog man. Nothing more than a hobby. I'm glad you're reading, but try to take it a little less seriously than I do. It's unhealthy.

This could be a possible linkbait .... but I have a flight in 30 minutes so figure I got enough time to reply.

    Yep deliguy is Eli.

Now to the poster, I'll answer your questions one by one quoting stuff from your article.

As again, there is a difference in being 'difficult to code' and being 'far from practical'. As someone on your blog already mentioned, people have a very bad habit of being spoon fed. Eli has given you the idea, hire a proper coder and get that damned thing coded, what's stopping you ?

Also, when you pinpoint and call someone's ideas "flagrant", you should include one or two examples and conclude why the said idea is flagrant.

I have a very special relation with this post and the method described. And you cannot call this idea flagrant in the least sense of it.

Your outline of a problem itself amused me. Eli's post has a proper, elaborate and distinct outline. If you think carefully, it's more of a blueprint than a point to point explanation.

Eli says wallpapers and screensavers, so let's go ahead and make wallpapers and screensavers. Come on! Think Outside that damned box.

Have you bothered reading the comments or the forums that the 'commenters' setup?

This has gotta be funny. Why do you think Web Designer's design website. If their designs are so good, shouldn't they go around making websites for themselves. Why let someone hire them ?

I am afraid you need to clear your idea of the way businesses function my friend :)

And the first paragraph of your post reads,
For the one or two people who read this blog sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been very, very busy past few days and never had the time to sit down and blog something.

So what? He's a businessman. Atleast he provides something that has value, unlike those ebook hogs.

And by the way, someone who wants to cash in will never write a post like this, http://www.bluehatseo.com/how-to-build-your-own-squirt/

    There, I rest my Case!

I have read some stuff on the bluehatseo blog and I must say I am impressed with the level of detail that Eli gets into. Anyone willing to put the time in to help us out is worth recognition in my book!

Wow Abhishek. That itself seems like a blog post.

As for IamNed, just look at your blog. you don't even care to remove the default wordpress description in your blog "Just another WordPress weblog"
And still you feel like criticizing ppl who are best in their field.[IMG]

And why the heck you don't post live links at DP?

I discovered Eli's blog last year and have enjoyed reading the posts and all the comments. That blog has prodded me to consider methods of traffic generation and marketing that I never had before.

The $100 a day post is probably his most well-known. For those of us who spent our time mainly trying to get higher organic search engine results, this was a revelation. There are relatively easy ways to generate targeted traffic without relying on the search engines? In my view, whether or not it was really possible to generate $100/day from those screen savers wasn't the point .. it was the technique that could be applied elsewhere that made it such a good post.

Just as interesting were the comments that were generated when the affiliate company changed their TOS. For the next few months Eli and the blog readers tossed around ideas on how to continue to monetize the idea now that the rules had changed. Again, very interesting reading.

If you read the blog thinking you're going to be getting a step-by-step guide on how to make money without thinking or doing any work you will be disapponted. If you're like me and just looking for ideas then you'll probably find it worthwhile.

    Absolutely amazing!

Someone goes to the all the time and effort to share good creative ideas and blueprints for how to make money online and people want to bash him.

All I can say is what did you ever offer to the world?

How many people read that pathetic little douchey blog that you post to? How about rather then trying to knock other people down you go and build yourself up. Linkbaiters that try and get fame by trying to say how much they know and how much others don't make me sick and I owned this forum I'd ban your a**.

Didn't your mom ever tell you if you don't have something nice to say SHUT YOUR F***ing PIE HOLE@!

Bluehatseo is actually the only blog i read regularly. I'm not really into the whole blogging thing, but the content there is always unique and interesting, and never '10 reasons i love shoemoney' or '99 ways to get traffic' crap.

WTF do you expect man? Do you want someone to write you step by step instructions, build you a website and drive traffic to you while you scoop up all the profits? His blog is full of ideas. If you can't put these ideas into practise then don't read it. Why bash it?

Wow this topic has generated a lot of discussion. I didn't know people felt so passionately about bluehatseo. Later I'll devote an entire blog entry about the repsponce to my original entry.

It wasn't intended to bash. I was just providing an alternative viewpoint and well as what considered to be constructive criticism. NO one is asking for a road map for for anyone to divulge their money making secrets.

I think Eli does a great job myself although, i'm sorry to say most of his techniques are too advanced for me.

I dod not appreciate his most popular "how to make $100 a day" post though as it's EXTREMELY flawed. I know this because I followed it and have wasted at least $800 paying programmers to fix all the things he forgot to mention.

    Best wishes,

    Martin

Eli's blog posts are usually tuned into ebooks by others people and sold on different webmaster's forums.
    I guess this says everything.
