After boasting the infamous Text Link Ads adverts on one of my sites, I discovered that I received $25 through their referral program. TLA states that the minimum payout is $25, and that payment is immediately sent if through paypal. However, I have not received the money or any notification about it yet... anyone have an opinion/suggestion/similar story over this one? Thanks for your input!
Usually with most advertising companies, they will send a check out once a month (usually at the end of the month) hopefully that helps
Sometimes it's more than a month. Sometimes up to 3 sorry about that. Hope I was of help have a good one!
TLA's sends checks out monthly. So if you earn't it this month then you should receive your earnings either next month or the month after. There are not many programs that will pay the same day or the next day once you have earn't your money as it's one of the worst things that most online business could ever do mainly because of the fraud risk.
Rather than start a new thread, did any other people get a mail from TLA saying that people should use a TinyURL to reference their site rather than direct linking with referred IDs? Is this them trying to stop getting slapped by Google? Can't Google just follow the link anyway?
I wrote on my blog I though it was in response to google trying to devalue paid links that dont use nofollow. Using tinyurl essentially makes it harder for google to find the sites that sell paid links with TLA so in a sense TLA is protecting its publishers.
Thanks kingjacob - I might instead use a redirect like I have for my other affiliate links, in a robots.txt-excluded directory.
I think you should have your payment in first week of September. TLA is paying fast. I wouldnt beworried about not getting payment from them.
