Ok a great way would be keep it in your sig. Next meta tags Then myspace, hit onto that or bebo. Stumble and digg. Also you will need decent backlinks not pointless ones!! Good luck nice site
Go find wp directories, skin directories and other wp theme sites that RANK and are popular, and get links on those sites (how ever you can get them). Promote where YOUR readers/visitors are NOW online...your sig here on dp wont do much IMHO..if you want to blow the doors open, go for the whales..not guppies
Maybe try and spend 30 minutes a day leaving comments on relevant wp blogs and have a link to your site in each comment. Just make sure you're leaving unique and sincere comments, otherwise your likely to get deleted.
Also, you might want to try and create a variety of different top 10 lists for your themes like "top 10 free wordpress themes for the struggling artist" and include cool artist related themes. Then submit these lists to sites like digg and reddit.
showcase you themes in a 30 second video with some nice background music. Just use Windows Movie Maker (default on any XP or Vista Installation). Then upload it to leadsbyvideo.com and give it some playlist spots. The audience there are mostly webmasters so it would suit your promotion.
Advertise the site on similar sites and try using adwords, you can use the "site targeting" feature in adwords for this.
