Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

Anyone have any idea when is it going to happen? I have heard rumors that pagerank wont be use anymore. Somehow i remember reading somewhere that Google Dance event is going to happen on August 22nd (I think its Matt Cutts)

I am really waiting for the updating of the Google PR.And I am always looking the threads related with it too.But still there is no change in the Google PR.And I am always used many tools to check it.Why the PR updating of the Google is going very late?Or they are going to introduce any new methods to calculate the quality of the websites?
Any way still I am waiting for the updating of the Google PR.

Why are you waiting for the update??? It is better that you work hard so as it will increase. Eventually, it will do so.

Lloyds, forget about page rank and focus on the SERPS.

If the content you mentioned is unique, and if attracted natural inbound links, you are already benefiting from all the work you put into the website.

 

A lot of people have trouble getting others to link to them if they are PR0, this is why it is important to so many that they just go ahead and update already.
It doesn't seem right to me if they makes new sites now wait 6 months instead of 3. That means for so many months sites that do have pr (internal) and are good quality show a big 0 on the toolbar.

 

Google webmaster tools are showing updated backlinks till end of july.I suppose that means that backlink update is over and PR update will be probably around end of august.

I don't think some people understand the concept of linking.

Linking to a resource should have nothing to do with it's perceived page rank. When you link to a web page you are stating that it's a useful resource for whatever issue you are discussing, hence a "vote of trust" is given making that resource more authoritative in that subject.

If you content is truly good and useful you will have no problems in finding quality inbound links, they will grow naturally.

As a matter of fact, the good links come from websites that don't really care about your page rank, all they care for is how good your content is.

 

You have about as much chance getting a PR6 first shot as a snowballs chance in hell. The indian flagging crew is world renoun. In order to reduce costs google employees people from indian tech centers to hand edit youtube sites in the top 2 pages in google and also eyeball all new pagerank 5 plus sites and quickly yanked from the index if they violate any trademark issues or good taste issues, Example if the porn is of low quality you will be removed....

Hang on Verizon just sent me a quicky about how this guy works their and was hacked ext.... and some guy loads some kind of malware onto all computers with a trojan and he just spys on everyone that visits his website..... interesting article I will see if I can find it...

If I were you stop bothering yourself with PR update, just wait and continue on your link building. At least while waiting for PR update your still trying to improved your SERP.
