Need help with my directory

    Help please .. I am not a coder so do not understand this error on my directory. Please check doubledirectory.com.

    Fatal error: Smarty error: the $compile_dir '/home/double/public_html/temp/templates' does not exist, or is not a directory. in /home/double/public_html/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1088

    Help..!!!

    Create this directory manually:

    /home/double/public_html/temp/templates

    And make sure it's writable. (CHMOD 777)

    It says tht scripts expects a directory 'templates 'under this path /home/double/public_html/temp/' but it doesnt exists..

    Checkout manually...

    Thanks for such a quick response - 'public_html/temp/templates' sure doesn't exist - but I am wondering I never deleted it - 'public_html/templates' exists.
    I never interfered here but I had added a few add - on domains a few days back. Could some malaware have got in and is messing the script ? What do I do ? - BTW - The directory has been up and running since Jan.

    Create the directory manually, or change the compile_dir setting to the existing path. There's probably a config.php file somewhere, where you can set this.

    I don't know what script you're using, and the config.php file was just a guess. Maybe it has a different name, or doesn't exist at all. Can't you just create this directory? Or have a look at the readme.txt, there should be some kind of documentation. Or check the site where you got the script from.

    Thanks guys it worked - I just copied the 'templates ' directory to the new location. - Still wondering how this could have happened to a perfectly working site. Thanks anyway for guiding me. Reps added to all.
