Okay these are inevitable, if you're on the web, you're bound to come across a website that serves you pop-ups, in an effort to generate more revenue. Now, the question is, what do you think of such websites that have pop up ads on them? Will you visit them again if they have good content? (Keep in mind we are talking about if you have no pop up blocker/it isn't functioning) Banned Replies - I let my popup blocker deal with them - firefox totally owns! It always blocks my popups - +1 free post lol IT
I tend to avoid them, I don't mind google text ads and a few banners, but the banners that have audio attached to them really annoy me.
hate them, especially the ones with multiples and pop ups on every page. A single popup on entrance I can handle within reason.
I HATE them, they always freeze up my browser for a few seconds while they all pop up. If I come across a site with pop up ads, then I'll try my best to avoid it.
Yeah, unless I that website has the content I really want I hit the back button as quick as possible. I usually never visit again. Of course Firefox blocks all of mine. DAMM IT! Said the banned words. Argh.
that they are making money ONLY if they are not having Multiple Pop ups . One pop up is okie and i will re-visit the site if they have something good to offer !!
popups are like an unwelcome hand down my pants, i dislike them because they are pages i never asked for nor navigated to, and i would never use a site that serves them.
They get me too - in fact, ANY unexpected audio. I usually leave the sound off to avoid the sound scare. As for popups, I always turn them off without even looking at the content. But if the Internet is to stay mostly free, I understand a site might need them.
Popus really suck! I would revisit a website with pop-ups unless there is a reason. Something like unique stuff which i won't get any where else or something useful that i need. But still i'd hate that website even if i need to visit it. Would probably disable javascript .
