Directories that sends traffic

Hi,
looking for directories that sends good traffic. Tried with some free directories but not satisfied with the results.

 

Bid directories do send traffic, but probably not first-tier in quality. A lot of people click just out of curiosity.

Also, get featured links on regular directories.. - this will help you optimize the title- - indirect traffic from high Search engine rankings

 

the only directory I really get some traffic from is alive directory. But bidding directories work too but i wouldn't suggest it. Directories aren't really meant for traffic in my opinion.

 

www.bigweblinks.com sends me traffic.

 

try to get some top10 bids in a few bidding directories, and you will get enough traffic! cheers

 

Bidding directories are for traffic, you can also advertise on directorycritic.com or info.vilesilencer.com ..

Forget free directories, I hardly get any traffic from most paid directories.

I agree with Razvan, bidding directories can send decent traffic - especially if you are on the home page.

I get regular traffic from bigweblinks.com

directorycritic.com also sends a lot of traffic too.

Lot of directories do send traffic --but I don't think you will satisfied with them.

Suppose you list in top 25 directories and it would cost you around $700-900. and if we take an average 20 visitors/directory per month --it would come across 500 visitors per month. Not enough - I suppose.

List in 50 directories -- you should be getting around 1K. ( Just imaginative figures) --the actual figure might be very less. -- Cost would be around $2K. Get into PPC and you might get 3K visitors with it.

So why would you list in directories if they don't send traffic????

If you list in 50 high quality --you are sure of one thing. You will get search engine boost which will be permanent as your listing in directories are permanent.

Do you think will we get good profit if we use bidding directories? I suspect that if we didn't get enough traffic it might land us to big losses.

 

if you mean converting traffic,the only way to check is to search in google for the keyword you are after, and submit to the directories that come up high in the serps for that keyword. this will give you quality traffic and gives you also an idea on the quality of the directory. A link from such a directory is also beneficial for your own serps for that keyword.
