Hi guys, I would just like to share my experience with this mod: NoSpam!

I have this installed for all my forums since it came out and I have never seen 1 single spam post ever!!! The best part about this mod is that you can have the word (for the verification) to be related to the theme of your site. So, if you have a Webmaster forums, you can just enter words like "adsense" "affiliate"..etc

Also, I turned off the captcha because I don't want my users-to-be, to close my site!!! I want them to register and that will only happen if you have the registration process take less time as possible.

So, even without the captcha I got no spam on 4 more of my boards! Great or what?

Check it out! Best part is it's FREE!
(many of you heard of it, for those who have not..)
Note: I am not promoting this product nor am I affiliated with it or the author. Just helping out the community. :)

Best way to fight spam is have active mods. Nuke them immediately if people find posts deleted and themselves banned before posting another spam they often skip your forum again. It comes in waves for me :)

I use nospam as well. I still get spam from actual human spammers that are paid to post junk. So much so that I created a forum that I move all their junk to. (http://cellphoneforums.net/scams/)
