    Hello,

My site is'nt ranking well at all with the keywords i used. if i did get on the front page i know i would get a ton of traffic. im no SEO expert, so i could be doing this all wrong.

Do you have to have pagerank for you to get on the front page? as im currently a 0 but after this update im perdictted 4/5 http://easyforumz.com

They keywords i use are -

    free forum hosting,free phpbb,free forum,ad removal,free board,phpbb hosting,

and i can't even find myself if i type any of them into google.

Could someone suggest which direct i should go?

    Thanks.

Well, I suppose you need to concentrate on one first, find a nich keyword that has a low amount of searches and try to rank there first, at least that is what I did, slowly I then started targeting other keywords. It has seemed to have worked for me so far...

    Hi,
The keywords u are using are very competitive esp since u are using the word "free" and "forum". This makes it very very very hard for you to be high in the index.
You should be looking for long tail keywords that has less competition, so instead of the keyword "free forum" you may like to push for a high listing for the long tail keyword " free weight loss forum for diabetic patients" and so on.

    Hope this helps

Don't use the common words or competitive words, instead use the words that are very rarely searched. If you are using the words which are rarely used for searching then you are most likely to succed in increasing traffic to your link.

    Thanks,

Is, lets say, "free gaming forums" and "free medical forums" any better?

    Thanks for all help btw.
