Are these Yahoo ads on a UK site?

Came across ads on this site...

    http://travel.independent.co.uk/

The URLs for the ads all start with ypn.. and the main heading links to searchmarketing.yahoo

Are these a new thing or have they been around a while? Is this an early YPN venture into the UK?

Yahoo ads != YPN ads. Anyone from anywhere can show Yahoo ads, but only US publishers can show YPN ads.

The independent is a big company so probably just asked yahoo, maybe they got banned from adsense for invalid clicks! :)

Personally looks like CPM ads, but it shows overture in the source.

    I also seen doubleclick ads.

    Hi

    What does this mean:

How would someone outside the US show Yahoo ads?

I think he means that anyone from anywhere can show Yahoo Ads (being the ads on Yahoo's site) but only people from US can apply for YPN?

Or hes saying that Yahoo Ads and YPN are 2 different things.
