Giving you the benefit of the doubt, don't you mean .txt to .ex4? (Metatrader 4 expert advisor) No, I didn't download your file and don't plan on it.

 

You are right it was a writing mistake it should be .ex4.

Its up to you, I am not talking about futile backtests here, I am talking abou LIVE and FREE to watch and try.

 

I downloaded it to save everyone else the trouble.

It's .txt format but the file contents is that of a EX4 file, not plain text.

The file starts with "EX4 | Copyright (c) 2007, Currencyscalper." then has random ascii characters.

You can test it next week with the following parameters for stable results of 5% per day, because the 50% you can see on the statement on my website is when you apply the the EA on the following pairs at certain times during the day when the market is going sideways, and not trending very much(if you have any questions of what this means you can ask me): EURUSD,USDCHF,USDJPY,GBPUSD,GBPCHF,GBPJPY,EURJPY.

Now for stable results you can use the following parameters:

0.1 Lots per $10000

EURUSD Long Only mode
USDCHF Long Only mode

There is a twist of hedge in this combination for more stable results.

 

Another very stable results configuration is using the following:

Use Scalper v1.0 with following settings on $5000 DEMO account

GBPUSD Long Only Mode 0.67 Lots
EURGBP Long Only Mode 1 Lots
EURUSD Short Only Mode 1 lots

This has produced a very stable equity curve last week with all the swings.
