Scammed out of a domain?

    So have I.

I wrote a tutorial on some QUICK steps you can take if you find yourself jammed inside a fraudulent or scam transaction. I didn't think I would be stupid enough to fall into something like this, but I did. It's not all about how smart you are (a lot of it is though).

Regardless of how you got into it, there's usually a way out.

    Read it here: http://www.kyleeggleston.com/scammed-online-how-to-get-your-money-back/

Definitely bookmark it for future reference... might come in handy. :p

For the record godaddy won't help you if it's there..

I'm still dealing with a lawyer now to reaquire hacked.cc which ironically was paid for with a stolen credit card via paypal over 1 year ago..

Thanks htmlindex, I appreciate it :).

It's more targeted towards domain transactions outside of registrars. Meaning, it doesn't involve godaddy, namecheap, or any other domain registration companies. What I personally dealt with only involved me, the scammer, Paypal, and my bank. The scammer didn't even own the domain he was "selling" so no registrar was involved.
