The 100$ referral given by adsense is a gud option for us.
But can u explain me this.
    If i refer MrX
    who refers MrY
    who refers MrZ
    who refers MrA
    who refers MrB
and if MrB earns 100$ will i get Referral commision?

Also can anyone find the Firefox Code in your account?

This isnt much of an issue. If you want to use adsense as a affiliate programme Google wont mind...if you can find 10 persons who make $100 each from adsense (the legal way) , Google will be very happy to give you $1000... even if your own adsense programme isnt making much.

I think Google needs to clear differentiate between referal earnings and adsense publishing earnings in its TOS/ Policies.

Google is surely not going to give 100$ each to X Y Z A when B makes $100.

    Sachin,

I agree with you but the question is much bigger. I am asking is there a possibility of a commission theft. If i refer somebody, will I get $100.

The best way out here could be to give this opportunity to create refferral only to those who have earned $100 or more for two months.

    A remedy,

    Abhilash.

NO . You are not getting anything for refering somebody. YOU MAKE MONEY ONLY WHEN THAT "SOMEBODY" MAKES $ 100 BY PUBLISHING ADSENSE ADS.

Ok, thats what I meant there too...

But this opportunity of refferring others should be given only to those who have already earned $100 from their websites otherwise it does not make sense.

I don't know if that is the case at present and if it is it should be made clear in the FAQ so that publishers have more confidence.

It's a one time referral fee, not tiered. I believe they are copying what Chitika recently released :p

I think the Chitika referall program is much better IMHO. You start earning money right away with Chitika and have the chance of making much more than $100 per sign-up if you are lucky.

Plus Adsense is saturated to some extent so many sites have already signed up whereas Chitika is quite new and many people are interested in signing up.

I really don't see what these fears about "commission theft" are. You can refer everyone you know to Adsense. But you don't get paid the commission unless they earn $100. Which is pretty close to what Google's cut of the commission is anyway.

In other words, it's unlikely that Google is going to "lose" money on this deal.

In my view it should hav given a %age on earnings of the referral instead of the FIXED 100%.
