Uh oh - Firefox won't start

I'm currently writing this in IE7, much to my contempt. I don't think I can survive another hour using this browser.

Anyway, here's my problem. Firefox wasn't responding, so I had to close it. Now, when I try opening it again, I get that "Restore Previous Session" popup. But, either way, if I click restore session or start a new session, Firefox opens but doesn't load. It's stuck on that blank white page and then it freezes. I've tried restarting my computer, re-installing Firefox, and still the same problem occurs.

If any of you could help me out, it'd be very much appreciated. I'm sure most of you know how difficult it is to do any type of work while on IE.

    Thanks in advance. :)

Uninstall Firefox (yah I know u have done it before) then clear Registry using any tool like Registry Mechanic or some other tool then restart ur PC and Install the Latest Version of Firefox
    I think this should work

but hey u can also try doing this

Right Click on the Icon of Firefox on Desktop and go to its Properties then Select Compatibility Tab and under Compatibility Mode Check Run this Program in Compatibility Mode and from the Drop the Box Select Windows 98/Windows Me

Well, I just tried running Firefox in safe mode with all the extensions turned off, and that didn't work either.

Tried both but to no avail. Weird thing is though, I tried running FF on another user account and it worked, so I think it's something to do with my current account. Are there such things as "account cookies"?

Thanks a lot for the suggestions though, means a lot. :) If all else fails, guess I'd just have to keep switching user accounts.
