How are you handling the complaints on YPN ads on your site?

Have a medical site; some one emailed me why I am advertising Car lost on my medical site?

It is kind of annoying to get that email.

I replied saying ads on my sites are served by Yahoo and I do not have any control on them.

Now my Question: How are you handling this kind of issues?

well, you can complain to YPN, which I have done, but it doesn't do any good...YPN appears to be losing advertisers and their targetting has been messed up since early spring. Why they can't put it back like it was I have no idea.

Don't worry, YPN will solve the problem by banning you soon because they fail to see that it is their fault.

I started using Kontera a few months ago and it's doing very well for me.. Not quite as good as Adsense, but wayyyyyyyyyyy better than Ypn.. but then again, blank ads would probably perform better than Ypn..

I hate to go off-topic.. but what the heck..

the only tips i have would be to try a few different link-colors to see what performs the best... also, it really only works good on a content-heavy site. other than that, there isnt a whole lot more you can do - it's all on auto-pilot.

Wait a second, I thought Yahoo was doing great. Wasn't someone on here yesterday claiming that Yahoo had more ad displays that Google and bigger market share?

Yahoo is in some serious trouble here. They overhauled their YPN system and it still doesn't work. The ads it displays might as well be considered non-contextual, because they seem to pick the topic of your site using a grab-bag of generic topics.

I wonder what percentage of new YPN applicants are people who have been banned by Adsense. Can Yahoo survive on Google rejects?

I've been complaining for 4 months, and so far I don't see any improvement...if they do ban me, I will go either back to google or sell my sites...I could use the cash to pay off my house and buy a new truck.
