    Hey there,

I just wanted to get some feedback on what you think of my first attempt at making a web 2.0 image.

The header colours don't really match. I'd avoid going from one colour to another in a gradient. If you do go from one to another, use a solid line to change, it'll look better that way.

I also think you need some sort of border by the content, not neccesarily a border all the way around though.

Not too bad, but Ill give you some constructive criticism :p

The font isnt horrible, but it isnt very 2.0. And the y throw off the reflection, you see? Erase that part or lower the reflection. And try make the background smoother ;). Good work.

not a 2.0 expert or image guru for that matter but I don't like how close the reflection is. Maybe it's just the overlapping Y that is giving me that feeling of being to cramped?

I have redone the image a little but I don't think it is that great still, what would be a good web 2.0 font to use?

The Y is too far away. Either space out all the letters, or scoot the Y closer so it's more uniform....

Not bad for a first try.
    Some advice.
Tahoma and trebuchet ms are the two best web 2.0 fonts .
add a shine on it .Make the white on the font slightly (i mean slightly gray)
then hold ctrl+shift on the layer. then select the tool that is the selection tool.
Whilst selecting over the text hold alt+shift then use a gradient going from white to invisable. There you go a more web 2.0 look.

your design is nice... reflection is now very easy with firework's cretive tools.. and also in photoshop. So, web 2.0 logos are so easy to create. hehe..
