I think the chassis and the video card were the expensive components. However If I had $4k to spend I would rather invest in a core2quad rig with 8800gtx sli
chassis is only $40 more on Newegg than mine with the PSU but he prolly got a different PSU with that graphics card which is double the price of my 2 put together
