Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

I asked the adsense team to look over my site, was that a good move?

I have been an adsense publisher for 6 months with marginal success (mostly concentrating on cpa offers)

Recently I started a wordpress blog, they layout the adsense for me.

My CTR has jumped from 4% to 37%. I have reached 37% the last few days. I already have made as much in the last 3 days than I did in my 1st 6 months. No fraudelent activity is going on.

I am receiving the majority of my traffic from craigslist ( not spam, I have not gotten flagged once.)

I emailed the adsense support team today and sent them a link to my blog. I asked them to look over my situation to make sure I was within the TOS.

I have never had success come so easy. I guess the 13 hour days reading the DP forum and google searching MIGHT be paying off for a change. Everything in my case is usually too good to be true. Can someone give me an opinion on my situation, was wise to contact adsense in this situation?

It does sound very high. Just wait for the AdSense support to reply.

Google employees are pretty smart unlike paypals, so as long as there is nothing fishy going on, you should be fine.

everything is as I say, I just never made good money with adsense before. Only beer money, really. Between that, and hearing people get banned from adsense, made me take action and email the adsense team asap. Thanks for the input

You should be fine, but if you're truly that concerned - you could always sell the website to me. ;)

I asked them to look over my site, and they offered 1 good suggestion, so I thought it was very worthwhile - just making sure that you are keeping within their terms and conditions.

Sure will. I learned so much from this forum from other members experiences and results, the least I could do is do my part around here.

Like I said, it is a wordpress blog and the ads were placed by wordpress. They have a placement method different from what I normally would do. The content on my blog is informative and relevenent to what my traffic is looking for on my blog, but I would say the links on the ads helps them seek out "further information" on the topic. It's a tough task to do without soliciting clicks or tricking people into clicks. I know it seems silly, but sometimes you just need to put yourself in the users shoes.

Thanks again everyone, I should get a response within 48 hours, I will update. Rob

37% is unnaturally high. Something is definitely wrong. As long as you aren't clicking on the ads you'll probably be OK, but someone must be messing with you because 37% is way too high no matter how much DP you've been reading.

That's the funniest thing iv read today.

What makes you so confident that you cannot have a 37% CTR? Some of my sites have well over 50%! Just because some publishers can have a good CTR, does not mean it's not "OK".

    ------------------------------------

    OP:
If your traffic is legit, and no invalid clicks have been done AND you are within the TOS... your safe :)

I agree that 37% is high but it doesnt mean that something is wrong. Google may be serving some very good relavent ads, or good ad placement.

I would if I didn't already tell everyone my marketing method. If I give you all the ingredients to my (possible) success I just might have competition ;)

I was born at night, but not last night!

Thanks again everyone for your input

I have a website with 30%+ CTR and it's not even an overly obtrusive ad layout. I think the fact that all traffic is from search engines helps the CTR.
