if you removed the claim, then its done, your money is gone.
who did this too you, did it happen here and if so where is the deal thread?

you have to be careful with whom you do business with. lately these forums have seen a lot of scams and they are going on unchecked. if you have a name and proof of what happened to you, please post it here.

I dont think contacting PayPal is the solution. I should say there is no solution. You should not believe on anyone on IMs or Spams. There are many scammers who use others IDs to scam people.

If you do business on forum, always confirm by sending PM to that guy. Feeling sorry for you.

Just a reminder, when filing a claim with paypal against someone, there is an option to accept a full/partial refund to settle your claim. Use that option when making a claim. Then, if the other person asks you to remove the claim, tell them "I will not remove it. If you want to refund the money, do so through the claim".

Yeah, I don't believe Paypal's "claim" system actually has anyone managing the thing. Unfortunately if you are stuck, you are probably stuck forever. Sorry to hear that you removed your claim. :(
