As Gift Cards are not tangible I am afraid you will lose.

Chargeback and pray that he doesn't reply to the dispute.

what is this for an answer? he just asks for options because he needs help. the advices won´t be much different then here. i think that´s the sense of a forum or am i wrong here? why can´t he ask on different places?

    just my opinion

i don´t think you will get anything. you can be happy if you don´t get in trouble because you used the certificates which were bought probably with stolen credit cards.

    my opinion

oh yeah, your wrong, its been 4 days since the last post in this thread. no one cares what happens at other forums, we are only concerned about what happens here.

why should we waste our time trying to settle a dispute or an imagined wrongdoing when the events took place elsewhere? let the OP take his problem to the place it occurred and let the members of that forum straighten it out.

frankly, no one here gives a shit what happens in other forums.

oh yeah, and the OP created his account to whine about his problem.

thats right, he doesn't mention a name or a forum. i can tell you it wasn't this forum, it was elsewhere. so its a waste of time for anyone to post such a message, especially when its your very first post.

a waste of time is only what you did: writing a comment without a use. you don´t have to reply to a thread if you don´t want to but maybe others don´t think like you and try to help, even if it din´t happen here

What does that have to do with anything? Being a new member does not mean,
that he could not have been scammed! He's just asking for help anyway..

It really doesn't matter where it happened. Since the user came here to ask for help, does it bother you?
Since you have 2k posts, you want to exercise some sort of higher authority about what can be discussed and what cant?

Your attitude sucks to be frank with you.
    Get real!

Most probably you will lose as its not a tangible item you have purchased.
But you could also try to explain the matter to Paypal. If you still lose the case, and have to give a refund, there is one option left.

I am not sure if you can use this option. If the money you sent came from your CC on file with paypal. you can always contact your bank and ask for a
chargeback due to the scam you have been through.

Paypal will go on their knees to save that transaction, and work to solve the issue then with your bank..
You might have to prove it to your bank also. But they dont have rules such as "Tangible items", like Paypal does...
That might get you your money back...

    Good luck...

thanks for the clearification. i don´t have a problem with this, because i offer payment after recieving my service in most cases. so there is no need for anybody to be scared of being scammed, even if i have a low itrader and made some more posts last days. it´s because i only started to be an active member here some days ago.
