13,000 Coop Ad Network Weight Added for "Sleeping Bags" and another 13,000 Coop Ad Network Weight Added for "Sleeping Bag".

Assuming Shawn approves the links sometime this afternoon, the full benefit of this will be distributed throughout the network by the evening of Saturday, October 16th (it takes 100 hours for new addiitons into the network to be fully integrated into the network). We should start seeing a positive impact in about a week.

It should result in over 1,000 new backlinks spread over hundreds of sites in the next 2 weeks... it will be interesting to see how this affects the placement.

And since I love to gamble ... anyone care to wager we will be in the top 3 by the end of the month? Say, $20 ?

 

I won't bet you Nitin, but I have to say this was a very generous offer.

It doesn't really confuse anything else we have done and it is certainly a test of the Coop Ad Network.

The Coop 'sleeping bag' no -s links might confuse matters a bit since all current links are with the s. Spread though is probably a good thing but for clarity IMO it would have been better to stick with the plural first. Wait and see the effect. Then later add a singular version and see its impact. Now we can't distinguish.

I'll take out the plural ... at this point there has been very little affect of the coop ad network so hopefully it is not too late....

I really don't think there is a way. The network is too large and there is too much randomness built into how the links rotate through the system so there is no way to know exactly which links have been indexed by google at any given time.

As far as the ad network is concerned, the only thing we have at this point to go on is the weight ... which is/was ~26k.
