    From Matt's blog

I have a feeling J3 could be providing a real shake up in the serps, J3 is how google see's the way forward, I hope it matches our idea of a good engine as well!

Its google's most recent algorithm update, has been going on in various stages over the past week or 2 (or 3) and seems to be wildly affecting the SERPS

As stated, the final stage is supposed to be this weekend so you should have a *final* product on Monday

    *Final for Jagger anyway

    According to my records...

The February/March 2005 Google Event lasted 55 days!

For this Google Event my site started with the wierd results on September 22nd.

That puts me 42 Days into THIS EVENT

    Me too.

Now that Jagger3 has officially not started can we please not start any J3 analysis until it is announced. The "Is Jagger3 over?" thread was so annoying.

I'm glad that it sounds like it will hopefully be a shakeup of the SERPS and that the index can return to some state of 'normality'. At the moment it's far from 'normal'.

    Good luck guys.

Well, I actually enjoy McDars analysis...I know the 2 word posts by others in that thread can get monotonous but McDar has a point about the behind the scenes action that seems to be Jagger 3.

Here is a comparison between October 15th and November 3rd (today)

Note the Datacenters where the Allinanchor started to go to HELL and the Datacenters where Allinanchor is starting to return to "normal".

If you take 66.102.9.99 for instance, I have regained all my #1's for allinanchor: (After dropping to 750, etc) but I am still getting bad results for the SERPs on that page (From 3 pre update to 300 now)

This whole thing rolled out more like waves than just hitting everyone at once.

I was first effected back on September 22. Then again on October 9th.

Some folks noticed NO changes until days later.

I think that the effects of this Event has continued like this throughout.

The biggest hit I had was on the Oct 15th and 18th.

Btw, I see different results this morning (they look like old ones) at:

    64.233.189.104
    216.239.53.99
    216.239.57.99
    66.102.7.99
    216.239.63.104
    216.239.53.104
    66.102.7.104
    216.239.57.104
    216.239.57.98
    216.239.57.105
    66.102.7.105
    216.239.57.147
    66.102.7.147

anyone else? Are they like before the update or they are new? I wish they were new ones :)

I am seeing some improvements on the .104 dcs.

Hopefully this is what Jagger3 will look like.
