Where on earth can a person get a .edu!?!

    I've been searching all day for sites that support and sell .edu domains and couldn't find any at all! lol, They just say it in the ads on G and mislead you, directing you to considering a .com, or all that other stuff :confused:

    well, if the govt can try to ban DHMO, then I'm sure we can start a government agency of jokes. and they can make a .gov joke site so we all know what is an acceptable form of humor :p

    On the edu site I got all the way to registering wacko.edu for and having the contact info of some education school for Nuns, but didn't dare enter and continue with fake info, ie phone number and E-Mail address. :D:D:D:D

    I just got a piece of mail today that will let me make a shirt that has my last name university on it..like "Smith University" Does that qualify me as a real school for an edu domain or do I need a football team too? :confused:

    I used to be incharged of my school website it had a .edu.my (malaysia) domain but I think the old board got the domain. I don't think you can get it through the net.

    HEYYY... Now that I think about it, alot of these edu's go to college uni's. Maybe theres a way to like go back to college, join up, and request edu's with reference to the college which you go to. It's a long shot, but it might work out...
