    Well one of mine PR5 went to 0 few days ago and it stayed there so far and other PR0 still on PR 0 no changes on that one :/

    The longest time between toolbar PR exports recorded in the Page Rank Export List was 122 days (Oct 19/2005 to Feb 18/2006).

    Here is what you shouldn't do if you want a PR increase:

    Only two months old and already 7000 backlinks. This will draw a red flag to Google for sure, aka Penalty or Filtered results.

    Not really TBH, popular stories can generate thousands of links a day, in a site got, say 10k backlinks in 2 weeks, then that would raise a flag

    15k backlinks in 2 months !?!?!? :eek:
    Basically Google will flag that as suspicious and if found to be artificially gained (i.e. not natural) then Google could penalise your website...

    erm i have 17k backlinks in 2 months.

    if george bush started a blog, he would probaly gain 500k backlinks in 1 week. nothing wrong with that

    Also if it was George Bush, whoever the hell that is, I assume the red flag (if there is such a thing) would be taken off as soon as Google realises that the site belongs to someone fairly famous - same for the latest flash in the pan stuff, Big Brother, X factor type scenarios.
