Official: Google will not Remove The Page rank.

OK guys you can rest assured, i got this information from someone who is directly "related" to google. they dont plan to take out the pr from the toolbar and they never did

i could have kept this information to myself to avoid all the "where did you get this information" and "who told you that" questions but i wanted to share with you since some Directories owners were very worried about that.

so now get back to building quality links for your directory and forget about all those false rumors.

np welcome and yes thats what i thought too, all those false rumors are just the imagination of webmasters in forums.

 

But still a debate is going through out many webmaster forums that Google is going to perform CORPORATE SUICIDE (Lifting the green bar)

 

If PR concept is removed, it will cause headache to Google itself. Because you need some metric to judge the value of a domain.

Dropping PR is only going to help Alexa etc. since their metric will get more value!

 

For me, it's a great news, otherwise, I have to discard all of my directories.

LOL. The mathematicians who invented the PR Algorithm will be out of jobs and besides a discredit to the founders themselves as they were involved in this process. Take a look at those links on how they came up with the calculation and everything not regarding the $$$$$$$$ they used in there for ads, marketing, not mentioning their arm pit sweat to it and how their market share at Wall Street would drop drastically.

Now go and get your sites to be reviewed and start advertisements.

 

I have already said that it is a rumor planted by SEO's with others
to discourage people from buying the links in directories and other websites to increase the PR.


The main benefit of these rumors is SEO
As the people would stop buying links from directories and other sites ,because of it they would spend more towards SEO .

So I think it is well orchestrated rumor planted by SEO's

and then said it is someone you know told you? Offical is when Google release it to the press not to their friends..

 

Am a French speaker my friend, Not a native english man, and official for me means : from an "official" source. but thanks for the definition.

Now, First Google have no "friends" they have "employees".if you see what i mean and There is nothing to be released to the PRESS since it was never a Question or a debate from the beginning, do you get the point ?
