    Hi:

Someone copy paste my website with same contents, same keywords, same layout... and upload in another domain.

I want to report google, yahoo, and msn for duplicate contents. I searched but i can't find any form where i can report.

    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks
    Burhan Khan

Furthermore, you should take legal action. Plagersim shouldn't be taken lightly.

Google cant do anything on this. You have to got legal actions. Make sure you let your local newspapers know of this. Also send a well written letter to major newspapers, submit to press release sites.

Maybe you should contact the plagiarist and tell him to remove your site from his domain.

This is a bad side of the Internet. You can take legal action if you are in the same area but even than you have to hire a good lawyer which may cost you a lot of money. Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do except to threaten the other person with legal action. All websites are copyrighted but enforcing your rights involves a lot of work and money. If you are in the same country it could be easier but it still involves you hiring a lawyer and suing them.

Google and Yahoo can do nothing and most likely will not get involved. The most they can do is ban his site from the index but it does not do much for you. I would send him/her an email and threaten legal action but if they fail to respond or refuses to take off the information, you have to decide if it is worth paying a lawyer to get involved.

How do they know that which one is the copy right brocker? I don't think they just ban a site because somebody else claim they have stolen the content. For example both might have bought the content from one source.

That is why I said they will do nothing. My statement was the "most they could do" not that they will do it. I agree with you and it could end up that both get removed from the index for duplicate content.

Contact the site and ask them to remove the content.
