Let's everybody write five interesting/surprising/strange/freaky facts we didn't know about him/her... I'll start: 1) I broke my grandmother's nose when I was 3 or 4 years old. That was an accident - I was sitting on her knees and suddenly I jumped backwards. 2) I have German, Russian, and Polish genes. 3) I am able to trace hedgehogs from about 50 meters according to my sense of smell. 4) My favorite alcoholic beverage is Laphroaig, 10 years old single malt Scotch whisky. 5) I just completed a Ph.D. in intelligent systems and robotics.
Yeah right haha! 1) My hearts stopped under surgery before. 2) I am just starting University in September. 3) I have irish relatives that stay in Spain. 4) I designed and built my own bed - bigger than Queen size. 5) I own almost every pair of converse trainers.
Um.. Here We Go; 1) I'm right handed but when I golf, or play baseball, I play on my left side.. Messed up, I know! 2) I like chick songs :| 3) I had Surgery done to my lungs when I was 1 year old! 4) Alot of my relatives live in Palestine. 5) I'm afraid of spiders, to an extent where I scream like a French school girl when I see one! 1) I can't stand people who do face expressions when talking 2) I hate girls that think way to much of themselves 3) I grew one foot in two years. 4) I bench 30 pounds more then I weight, I weight 125 5) When I was younger, I used to go to sleep holding toilet paper in my hand.
1. I've never broken any bones. 2. I don't like giving or receiving gifts. I don't ever know what to give others; and I'm not sure how to react when I get gifts. I don't get excited like when I was younger, so my lack of excitement always makes people think I don't like the gift (even if I do) and makes me feel awkward. So I don't actively celebrate holidays - or birthdays - that involve gift exchange. 3. I prefer silver over gold 4. Even though I'm a girl and everyone expects me to go after rich guys - I don't like spending other peoples' money. Makes me feel guilty. 5. I'm the shortest one in my family (right under 5'4)
1. When I was 10 I slammed a glass door on my oldest brother. causing him to have 21 stitches on his arm. only 4 days after her got out of hospital from a bike accident 2. Knew that my sister stole money out of my mums purse so I put some of my pocket money back in mums purse. 3. I'm the shortest in my family at 6'1 4. I have a few grey hairs coming up.... 5. I hate sleeping alone.
Hearts? Well anyway, 1. I fountain peed on the face of a Sister who visited me while I was in the hospital sometime after being born ( According to my ma anyway ). I guess no-one else can beat that . . Maybe thats why even now I am very interested in trajectories and orbital velocities .. Hmm... 2. I am vegetarian ( but eat eggs) , not due to dieting or anything, but because I have always hated the yucky meat (frankly most of the meat dishes look like sh*t , no offence), and the fish which stinks (literally). I haven't eaten meat knowingly ever ( yes really ). I guess it helps that my ma also doesn't like fish and meat. And I still weigh 70kg. Imagine that. Guess its because I have been sitting on my ass for the last 5 months, waiting for the college admissions to start. 3. I am a space maniac. I woke up early in the morning at 3 AM to watch the STS-118 launch live on NASA TV internet stream, while for almost a month, I have been waking up at 12 noon. I have been saving up money for sometime to buy myself a telescope. My astronomy now mostly consists of staring at the sky in wonder, I can identify some constellations and all also. I am mad at CNN for showing the launch only for TWO MINUTES. Why the heck can't they suspend all their stupid programmes to show the whole flight ... 4. I like Unreal Tournament but no other FPS (not yet anyway). I usually spend my time nowadays playing UT. 5. Well .. hmm .. yea .. The first programming language I really learned was Assembly language for Win32 ( masm32.com ). That was back when I was 14 or so. Back then I used to think everything should be made in assembly language. I made some small apps and all ( tomasm.hostingzero.com ). A few years back, I was rather active at their forum ( masmforum.com ) by the username thomasantony. Well , after that I learned some C, and then PHP and fell in love with PHP . My programming love changes often .. from C to PHP to Java and back to PHP . Thats all I think. ~ Thomas
