Matt (wordpress) is too young... wordpress is very old enough.

 

One thing I did notice is that on Sean owner of DP wiki page that he was accused by the MPAA of downloading "Meet the fuckers" on BitTorrent.

I know that he must have been completely innocent because nobody in their right mind would ever download that film.

Makes no difference at all, it's still a bloody awful trite film.

 

Good word, my friend. I started my website at age 60. Total rookie, knew zero about SEO. It's now up to over 1,100 unique visitors a day. Whatever your age, if you have a "vision", go for it!

 

The wiki and ebay guys just scare me. I am never going there again...lol jks great sites.

Nice post and interesting to see some of the big money makers. Seems funny though that you stated "I’ve deliberately left out Google and Stumbleupon and other companies that everybody knows about." but you included eBay and Yahoo.

haha, perhaps this was based purely out of my own knowledge as I was much more familiar with who the founders of Google & Stumbleupon were compared to Ebay and Yahoo. Perhaps it's cause when they first came on the scene, i was still an ignorant student only concerned abt mugging and partying

 

Looks like the founder of DP's quite good at modelling.

 

Except when you're young it's usually funds that stop your website developing. I had a vision once, but I got a quote for like $2,000. Way beyond what I can afford.
