Uhm yeah. That stuff is nasty. It seems like people that do it are inconsiderate, they smoke one in a large crowd. Can't they just wait or go somewhere else. The smell of it makes me gag. I do it all the time around both my sisters. It annoys the hell out of them.
What's the point of judging how others live and what they do? Where did all this intolerance come from? What gives people the right to tell anyone else how to live their life? Why should anyone give a hoot what you think they "should" do? Intolerance based on race, religion, color is no longer "acceptable" so now the snide comments are about how people live and what their habits are. A friend was accosted by two women as he stood outside in a designated smoking area. They told him he had a disgusting habit. He told them they had a disgusting weight problem as both weighed over 300 lbs. THEY were offended and tried to report him for "harrassment". You can "free speech this" and "free speech that" but what's the point if all you are doing is tearing someone else down? My Grandfather always said "Your right to free speech stops at my ear". People who live in stone houses shouldn't throw glass - it just makes a mess. kay (and no, I don't smoke - I quit long ago)
I'm a smoker in the process of quitting (three years and counting on that ). I have to say that I agree entirely with everything posted so far - smoking is nasty, and I make a very, very strong point to keep my habit to myself and to not expose anyone else to it. Any smoker who lights up in a crowd deserves a smack.
when someone used to stand near me and do the fake cough i would quite often drop my fag end into their pocket or down the back of their jumper etc. serves em right for not having the balls to say "can you blow your smoke the other way please"
