I just switched up my blog, colors placement everything. Personally I find the 2 leader boards below themselves messy. I was wondering if any one had had any success with it. Also what else could I do to the blog?

    Thanks mates.

Try putting one at the top of the page and one at the bottom.

Yes and put them in content area so they blend better. Also try maybe one in the middle of the content some where.

Bottom? It's unlikely that someone would read all 7 posts displayed on the page.

Definitely take out a leaerboard. It'd be more user friendly if the right ads were under the menu.

Okay I took one out, I'm wondering, since I have a darker background should I maybe contrast my ads and place them as a light color instead of blending them?

I like blogspot templates best when the nav. bar matches the main color scheme. I think yours would look even better than it already does with the black bar instead of the blue bar.
It looks like your ads pop with the white on dark.

if you have an "older entries" link, people often accidentally click on a footer ad rather than the link. I have a site with about 10 entries per page and the footer gets lots of clicks

For blogs, the regular readers would obviously read only the latest entries (entries on top) and leave it at that. But for someone casually browsing will spend sometime around the pages, and may click on the footer. Less chances of that.
In my blogs all my adsense are concentrated around the top area and first two posts.

Just be careful you don't make the accidents too easy or you're violating TOS.

Leather board size ads usually give me the creeps, I'm not too fond of them personally.
