How did you earn from SEO ?

I am doing SEO services for DP members and earn.But what about you ?

I only do SEO for myself. I don't think I will earn by doing SEO services for anyone else as I am not too good at it.

 

currently I am earning $1.5k per month.I am having four staffs for doing my works.

 

please share your methods and techniques to get customers. Am i missing something ? I mean i really do a lot of promoting, even putting my business in the yellow pages etc..etc...ads, and whatnot....

 

as for now, I earn from SEO because it is my job

Well if your any good you use that knowledge for you own sites and monetise that free traffic.

I have found that small companies, and individuals with personal websites, would rather do their own SEO than hire someone to do it. There is sooooo much seo info. available to them - some of it wrong.

I recently started an SEO blog, for the do-it-yourself SEO person, simply because of this fact. While I would like to so SEO for 'a living', I am finding it very difficult to obtain clients. So, for now, I am trying to generate adsense revenue from my blog but it is a slow process.

Anyone have any suggestions on getting clients???

 

Yeah.I am using it myself and earns from Adsense too.Some of my sites are having very good ranking in Google and get nice traffic.

Instead of heavy promotions make ur work best, it can bring u works.

As SEO field is getting very competitive, learn more and more and do the best.

Work mainly comes from direct marketing via telesales, and leads generated from our website and its positioning. I have found email marketing a complete waste of effort so far. Word of mouth is by far the best method of marketing, but that takes time to build up.

Its hard work at first to get good business, but when it starts to evolve it can be quite lucrative.

Although SEO services have been around for a while, the markets still quite new, the majority of company's and people I speak too, are not even aware of the service. If there not aware they wont search for it, which in turn gives us all a problem at the moment.

I do it for myself. If my site ever gets big enough, I might get some help from the pros.

 

I get customers from word of mouth...I never paid for advertising...

 

Hmm I agree and kinda disagree, word of mouth is almost useless on its own. You need SEO.
