I used them too - but until now have yet to make money from it. Text Links best work for site / blog with high traffic.

Yeah, Google wants to stop people from paid links. I think it's an absurd argument because they created the monster. Their answer to advertisers is to redirect to another page that is blocked by robots.txt so it won't be considered an actual link. Otherwise use nofollow.

Shouldn't it be up the individual webmaster if they want to give juice to the other site? I digress.

Anyway, yes, I'm curious from both a buyer and sellers point of view.

Does TLA offer a nofollow option? If they do, it'll likely lower the chances of getting a buyer, but it'll make the big "G" happy.

One beauty of TLA is that they place link that is highly related to your site. It is not that easy to see if they are paid link or not

It is not a rumor anymore. Google is officially denouncing paid links. You can now report paid links to google.

And also google has penalized text-link-ads.com already by pushing it deeeeep down in the SERPs even for the keywords text-link-ads .. Only text-link-ads ad still appear using google adword :D

    Funny?

Geez, you weren't kidding! I did a search for "text link ads" and even "textlinkads" and the site didn't come up. Lol, and you're right again that they'll still take their money for Adwords.
