    Pros:
    1. Very Professional
    2. Easy to navigate
    3. Lots of great content
    4. Lots of interactive features (user reviews, pick a trick,...)

    Cons:
    1. Some of the text was on the small side.
    2. Where are the professional tricks? Don't most magic shops have a "back room" for the professionals? ;) Do you have the equivalent?

    Overall:
I am not a magician myself but I used to manage several regional magicians and I liked this site. However, I was surprised to see only one "advanced" level product and I didn't think it was terribly advanced. I thought the very business like atmosphere was conducive to serving the more advanced to professional magician. I generally felt that the person seeking the caliber of trick available would have preferred the more dark and smokey motif. Either way, what I saw overcame my preconceived notions and I did quite enjoy myself.

What fun! You should do very well.

    For SEO,

I would mod_rewrite for your URLs.

Also your titles dont change for what page you are looking at and I didnt see any meta descriptions.

With those changes your site would really take a big change in rankings.

That's what I'm here to learn (the SEO stuff)
But for just looking at your site, I think it looks great. Easy to navigate and well laid out. Good Job!!!!

... many thanks for all your comments - much appreciated.

I'll take a look at the meta descriptions, and also page titles. We're doing pretty well on the search term 'magic tricks' on google; especially a uk-only search where we're tops, but always room for some fine-tuning.

thanks also homeofficeblues for your feedback. We've decided to stock a smaller number of items than some other magic dealers, and prefer to concentrate on a smaller range of commercial items that'll sell in better numbers than something too-specialist. However, i'm always looking at expanding our range, and we can definitely get a few more of the kind of products you mention. Everything on our site is in-stock, so we can despatch quickly; I don't want to be holding too many slow-moving items if I can help it!

One thing we have done recently is setup autoresponders. These are working VERY well, and i'd urge anyone to do the same. I registered an account with aweber.com a few weeks ago, and this has already paid for itself many, many times over, both with the autoresponders and their broadcast email function.

thanks once again for the feedback

    best regards

A job well done I say. I like your content, site navigation and layout.
Another thing though there is a white space on your banner at the main page. Im not sure if it is my browser or what?
    Good luck...

One note, I signed up to get my free magic trick from that window that magically (*fnarr*) appears. The subscription page you go to finished with a "close this window" button. But I don't want to close that window, it's my main browser window! Something like "Back to front page" or something would be better.

    Magic is cool.
