    Hi, When I look at my satistics in my config panel it says;

    And when I check adsense on any particular day it says;
    I don't get it! The number of adsense pagevies should be about the same as the amount of hits ór the amount of visitors.. why isn't this the case?

    grz

    This is not a site review post

    Hits are counted for every file sent to a browser. So for example a .jpg on a page will be counted as a hit when viewed by a user. Hits will depend on the number of files that make up a page.

    Visits are counted when a user or a bot visits your site. It will consist of one or more page views/hits and one visitor may have many visits to your site.

    Pageviews are counted each time a visitor views a webpage on your site irrespective of how many hits are generated.

    So these three metrics are not directly related.

    Hope that helps.

    And it could be that adsense showed public-ads on your webpages. I believe they don't show up in your stats account from adsense.

    I think you will find that PSAs are counted in the 'Page impressions' total but not the 'Clicks' total.
