I estimate that probably more than 90% of directories use USD for payments.
I would like to do a pool of submitter’s predisposition to pay in other currencies.
(I think displaying the estimate value on USD helps people that don’t know the conversion rates)

If you only want to pay USD could you please explain why.

As directory owner, I would receive money other than USD since it is going down gradually.

As to paying, I would prefer USD since I am in US. :)

Receiving Sterling would be better for me, as the weak dollar has hit earnings. Don't know how well it would go down with submitters though. Don't really care how I pay, as I earn more than I spend.

International business currency, is in the majority USD, so it is not a question of preference (as this is not about preference) facts are facts and the USD is good for over 90% + of transactions so the USD has to be the default payment currency

    Please pay in Euros ;)

The conversion rate for euro/dollar is killing me

I see the Euro is getting stronger and stronger, but the mayority has paypal with dollars. This wil probably stay dollars for the next couple of years.

What we need is a stable and reliable currency and it looks as if the US $ has seen its day. I am no expert on these things but if I am not mistaken I think that Sterling is the best bet at the moment.

Americans want USD, europeans want the euro and british the pound. How I'm not surprised?

If it's just a matter of weak USD then the solution is simple: raise the prices.

If you are holding your mony is $ and it goes down it costs more to buy whatever you buy if its not in $. Makes a lot of sense to shift into a more stable currency. That way when the $ goes down you can buy more for less and save all round.

I would pay in most currencies and id prefer if i was accepting in GBP, but i wont turn my nose up at any cash. :)

Im just glad in not trying to buy things in Zimbabwe i think it is just now, people have to take big bundles of cash just to by groceries at the moment.

I prefer paying in dollars though, works out nicely, just not the other way around. :(
