I've recently had a few sites accepted to google news, and am now looking towards Yahoo.

Anyone been able to submit a site and get it accpeted?

Could you give more details? What kind of sites got accepted at google news? How did you get accepted? Never heard of this before and sounds quite interesting

I have done some press releases through PRWeb and other sources that are fed to Yahoo and Google. However, it obviously shows PRweb as the source, but it still brings exposure to my sites. One I did on 10-Oct is still in many news sections:

    Female Celebrity Websites

BTW - thanks for the link WhatiFind - that's definitely one for the bookmarks.

My primary site has our articles carried by Google News (we're also carried by a couple large media companies as well). Traffic has been limited, as they only downside of Google News is that they carry the same AP article from every site that runs it, so it gets over saturated with the same article (they apparently can't filter it). So we get a quick spike, and then it drops off when AP articles get released and they get buried.

I've tried getting into Yahoo with no luck. If you have any success let me know.
