[2007] Forum Signatures : Very good result!

I can't agree with u.Bcoz most of the above threads say they are getting very good result from this.Even I am getting!

Search this forum it took 3 months to get my test site indexed by DP sig links alone. A few other members done a test with around 10k of sig links and gave up after a month.

If you think over 100 links on a PR0 page is a great link.. I really dont know what to say.

Also multiple links to the same URL on a page is counted as one.

 

l got quite good ranks from dp sig links. like 2 3 in 2 months..

 

Based on what?

Google know what sig links are and they know how easy it is to get these links.
And as such they aren't going to see them as being authoritative.

You need to be picky when it comes to forum posts. A lot of forums are moving to NoFollow, which eliminates the value you get from them.

In regards to the "how many backlinks" question, I would think that it would be counted as only one backlink, despite the fact that your link would show up 6 times. I could be wrong.

 

Does DigitalPoint have any intentions of doing this? That would be a severe blow to countless webmasters, including myself.

 

signature links are not worth much for SEO......just look at this thread page....how many outgoing links to different kind of sites do you see? Google can easily detect these links and devalue them....

 

In between 500-700. I am ranking on yahoo, so the traffic is low, but still I make 1k by converting traffic to customers.

 

Forum signatures have helped me tremendously. I've even gone back and added links to my signatures on forums I haven't posted on in a few years and got great results.

 

Yes, I've done that too, but mostly, old posts take a while to get indexed again.

 

My PR2 websites became predicted PR4 because I had 250 forum posts with signature .

 

...And in addition to that, Google has really been cracking down hard on link anchoring. I thought by now that everyone had learnt to create for humans not for robots. It seems as though I am mistaken.

digital point forum signature are simply great for serp .I have got great result from this forum signature.

 

Forum signatures are especially good with Yahoo.

I post in a forum which is very relevant to one of my sites, and have about 1000 posts. Around 600 of my backlinks come from the forum signatures.

 

Any special in Forum Signature in Bold ?
I think it can make th link better ?
