    I'm a little confused here, could someone enlighten me, which countries use comma vs point.

    like:

    123,456.00
    123.456,00

    Weird thing I've seen few people write $800,00
    You'd think it's $800, but actually it was $800K :eek: Is that common? I don't think they just forgot a zero..

    I've wondered about the calculators as well. In the US, all the calculators I've seen just have the decimal point, as the comma is only used to separate every three digits to make large numbers easier to read and isn't really necessary on the calculator. Do countries that use the comma for the point actually have commas on their calculators? I'd like to see a pic of that.
