how do i get more traffic without investing lots of $

what are the best techniques to increase traffic to my hotels websites? I tried SEO but still dont see any results.

Either do lots of SEO the right way (takes lots of effort and usually money), or... you simply don't get any traffic.

You options are pretty low without money.

one way of getting a lot of free traffic is to sign up to the relevant forums and post your website in as many as you can, I do this and it does bring in a lot of free traffic, some other ways are linkdumps..but they are not as good

 

well, if you cannot afford to spend lots of $$$ then you need to spend TIME. There are plenty of things you can do. Some ideas listed here for example.

 

Do something completely crazy and inovative on your hotel site and then submit to digg.

 

Sig links in forum posts - also, maybe have friends or acquaintances, do the same

Paper ads can work too. Going to places where people might be interested in your business and putting up a flier

Building traffic and doing SEO is not something that can be done over night. It takes alot of time and dedication to start seeing results.

The hot traffic generating strategies right now revolve around Web 2.0. Try a squidoo lens, Youtube videos, Myspace etc. Article marketing is a great method to grow long-term stable traffic.

Well there is no such thing as free traffic.

You either spend TIME or MONEY.

If your time is worth alot of money, then spend the money for traffic and outsource it.

If your time is not worth much and you have plenty, then submit to MANY directories, submit articles, work on link exchanges, bookmarking, forum posts, video submissions (Youtube etc), and much more.

Then just wait.....MSN will pick up your stuff in a matter of days, Yahoo will soon follow in a matter of weeks, and then Google.......well Google takes a few months at the very least!
