    well i just had mine shown today, top of the list. I got some decent traffic but nothing like I was expecting. The day is still young so hopefully more come in, but so far it's a bit disappointing. A good service yes.. just not sure if its worth the cost.

    you might think about having the top advertiser with a description or something like that. or something that says "Suggested Proxy" or "Preferred Proxy" otherwise the second and third spots can easily over power if they have a better name.


    EDIT: Just to clarify I am satisfied, just had hoped for more and wanted to offer constructive criticism for future issues of the newsletter. I will most likely use this service again.

    dragons5, thank you for your comment. Let me clarify several things about the traffic you might be receiving.

    First of all, you should wait at least 3 days to see what the traffic is like. This is because due to timezone differences, and because not all users open their mail every day. I made a test when there was 3300 subscribers, and I got more than 4000 visits in first 4 days, whereas third and fourth day were a lot better than the first one.

    Then, there are several considerations when advertising a proxy:

    1. You will get less traffic when you advertise an established proxy, because censors already know about it and it's blocked in many places.

    2. You will get less traffic when you use a .info domain, because all .info domains are blocked in many schools and workplaces.

    The suggestion for marking a first spot with a heading is a nice one - I will think about it.

    There are almost 3 times more subscribers, so obviously the price is higher. The price per subscriber is currently lower than it was before, so it's a good deal.

    Second spot is 50% cheaper than first, and third spot is 4 times cheaper. If you want to buy credits for multiple sites, there are volume discounts as well - please consult my site for exact amounts.
