Is Money The Primary Reason You Are Interested In The Webmaster Biz??

No matter when you expect to make money, you are a Webmaster primarily because of the current-or future-income, right?

Did you think it would be really easy to make big $$$ and now you're on the verge of giving up, since the money isn't coming in?

or

Are you a 'geek' (for example) who loves computers and doesn't need income to enjoy exploring the Webmaster Biz? "Do what you LOVE, and (maybe) Make Money?

Is money your primary reason for being a Webmaster, or is it truly what you LOVE to do?

95% of the money I make in this business goes into savings for the future. I don't know what I want to do with the rest of my life yet, but my internet business keeps me self-confident and solving problems to obtain lofty goals.

Yes, i do it for money

 

Cash is always the thing that keeps the door open for everything.

However, I would love to be in a partnership to something big. Some amazing site that requires a lot of invovlment though.

 

I am an computer/internet addict

In simple words i do what i love and get good for this

Future : must be in this field i can't see me doing anything else

 

I do it becos it gives me the flexibility of time management, and of course the potential of it compared to having to work for others.

 

I am also computer/internet/programming addict, even when i am not in front of computer i think of new programming patterns and so on.

 

Why else do people work? Although it's fun and you can learn a lot online

 

I do not do anything just because of the money, if you do, I would be greatly disappointed. I do it for the love of it and that keeps me up at night.

 

I do it more as a hobby. It is great if i make some extra money but I did it way back when Geocites first started just for the fun of it. I have a full time job fo income so what I make on the Internet is just for fun money and to support my hobby.

 

For me it is a mix of both.. It good to earn at the same time do what you love to do.
I always wanted to have my own websites..
so now at this stage it is 75% for $$ and 25% for thrills lol..

The money motivates me. There is money to be made online with a lot of work. It's not a simple process, and I still have my regular job. But i'm hoping to continue building on what i've already made and hopefully eventually become self-employed through online business.

Future income is an obvious motive, and it's great to have something I love to do

 

The sense of accomplishment is more then enough for me. The money is an added bonus for the hard work. If it were for the money, the return on investment takes way too long.

Never been 100% sure of the definition of a webmaster as it varies greatly over time and between people.

I do what I do with AS as I enjoy the net and enjoy .net and in the long term it would be good if it could become my retirement fund. At present I choose to keep up my professional interests in project and strategy management as by having my main income through this route it allows me to reduce the financial drain from a new company - the other 2 guys get paid a salary where as I get shares.

 

Money is a great way of keeping track of how well your web business is scoring! (+ it makes the world go around )

 

Mainly I do it to impress women. Nothing oozes sex appeal more than being able to walk up to a sexy woman in a bar and say "I'm a webmaster." Brad Pitt has nothing on being able to pull off a cron job at 3 AM.
