Suggestions for my website

Hi everyone! I'm a new member here and still very new to the AdSense program. I am looking for some advice on my website, Gaming-Setup.com. I want to increase the unique page views and maximize my CTR. My goal is to make around $500 a month from this website, if that is even a possibility. I also have a few questions about taxes, such as when I get my check will the taxes already be taken out and if not what do I do about that? Any suggestions and advice is appreciated!

Looks like a good start. Always work on quality content and you should have an easy time getting links from other sites.

 

In my opinion there are too many ads and not enough content...

 

Russ, do you plan on putting up more than one page? Your links don't go anywhere. My first impression is you're just out to make a quick buck. You'll need lots more content to reach a goal of $500 per month.

 

I agree, you need so much more content. $500/mo on just a page.really doubt it.

Do some more research on the subject and make a section or at least a page for each topic you find related to the subject.

 

Thanks everyone! My main goal when I first started was to get it at the top of Google. Entering the terms "gaming setup", "gamer setup" and "gaming setups" all bring up my website first It only took a month to do this

My last question is about the taxes. Any information on that?

 

Informative site? All I see is a basic grey and white page with the only links that are working are Google ones? Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong site or a site in development?

As for tax, it depends upon where you live and depends on how much you earn...

 

Short answer, Google says "We rarely withhold United States federal tax from Google AdSense payments."

Good contents meant good traffic. I am still in the mist of finding the best content to be placed on my site.
