Aweber is it reliable?

    Hey hi,

There are many auto-responders in the market today and aweber is one of the most well known. But, still I wanted an opinion from the people using this service. Is this service reliable? Is it secure? Any guaranty that they won't sell email-id's or won't sent them third part emails? How is your experience so far?

I love Aweber :). Their user interface is very easy to understand and as far as I know Aweber is a respectable company who have been in the business for quite a long time and I have never heard any issue about they are selling emails. In fact they are quite rigid about SPAM policy.

Aweber is my autoresponder of choice.

They have a high deliverability rate of email, their service is easy to use, and they're reasonably priced.

Aweber's "web form" handling is shoddy compared to 1SC (assuming you like some level of control), but otherwise they're pretty much on par with GetResponse and 1SC. Personally I prefer the other two, but whatever floats your boat. Obviously there are a couple of other big ESPs that offer autoresponders, but they don't get much word of mouth comparatively.

Aweber is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, autoresponder service provider. A lot of the biggies uses and recommends them. The main advantage with using a 3rd service provider is that they work to maintain good relationship with ISPs and this helps in keeping your emails out of your prospect's spam folder.

The only beef I have with them is that they do not accept PayPal.

That means that you can integrate the input email field and such with paypal and shopping carts, but they don't accept paypal as payment for their service.

I am having the same issue choosing between aweber and getresponse. I started by emailing getresponse about some e-mails I wanted to import and they were more than rigid and not friendly at all so I am thinking of using aweber even if they are a big more expensive and also rigid, at least they have been in the business for 9 years now!
1ShoppingCart is more than an autoresponder so you might want to use them if your business needs develop (they are by far the most expensive).

I think Aweber is certainly one of the most reliable auto-responders around as many reputable Internet Entrepreneurs are recommending them :)

ok...i agree...but i heard that they have their own ads on the emails that go out....is this true??

and i've heard that getresponse does not have ads on their e-mails.....if i'm sending out e-mails to generate sales....i only want my ads/links on the emails and NOT Aweber's.....

    can anybody confirm this?

Aweber is great. I haven't had any problems and I'm very satisfied with the reports as well as the control panel.

    Try it and see.
