I have made a DCMA complaint regarding a very clear cut copyright infringement. The webhost (I suspect he is the same guy that owns the website, judging from his style) is not budging. What is the procedure to follow when a hosting company does not satisfactorily follow up with DCMA complaints?
Check if he is in control of the servers. If not contact the managing company, I *think* they have rights to do stuff on the server.
Yes try and source the upstream provider. No doubt this "company" is leasing the server from another company or the datacenter. Contact them and explain the situation as they are ultimately responsible for the servers content/usage.
dns his server, get the ip, then go to ARIN and see who owns it, but most likely if there are outside the us they won't give a shit and nothing will ever happen..
if the Server is in MALAYSIA...don't even bother trying to solve the matter....coz it wont get solved...btw where is the server..
Chances are if the server IS in Malaysia there's no point caring. Nobody who cares about Western affairs browses Malaysian sites.
